The balcony is full of flowers and plants to make the home more warm, and what we need to do is how to make the flowers grow better? It doesn’t matter if you don’t have special fertilizer, you usually pay attention to collecting it. Many wastes around you can be reused in the matter of raising flowers. Today, I will share how to use the wastes that are often left in the kitchen to fertilize flowers.
1. Egg shell
The egg shells produced in the kitchen do not need to be fermented. They only need to be sun-dried and then processed into powder and buried in flower pots.
Efficacy: Contains high minerals, such as calcium carbonate, which can well promote the growth of potted plants and make potted plants grow more vigorously.
Note: Please do not put the egg shell upside down directly on the edge of the flowerpot, it must be washed and dried and mixed with the soil.
2. Bone slag
The principle is the same as that of eggshells. It is a very good base fertilizer, which can make the soil loose and breathable, promote plant growth, and make flowers bloom larger and more beautiful.
Processing method: Wash, dry, mash and mix into flowerpots.
Note: Don’t be lazy, you really have to wash it in the sun, otherwise it won’t have the effect of flower fertilizer but will attract bugs.
3. Waste oil from range hood
Needless to say, it is produced in every household. It is very troublesome to clean up every time, it is greasy and dirty, and it is usually dumped directly. However, many netizens said that using this to grow flowers is very effective, especially suitable for all kinds of foliage plants.
Treatment method: directly make a few small holes in the potting mud, pour the waste oil into it, and then cover it with a layer of soil. Don’t pour too much at a time, just half a box, once every 1-2 months.
